The flavor notes you'll see listed on each coffee — things like "dark chocolate," "stone fruit," or "brown sugar" — are tasting notes, not ingredients. These are naturally occurring characteristics that develop based on where the coffee was grown (origin, altitude, soil) and how it was roasted. Think of it like wine: a Pinot Noir might have notes of cherry and vanilla without a drop of either ever being added to the bottle. Same idea here!
